Many of you will know that many forums that offered good pay-per-post (PPP) rates have not closed down.  This is due to poor planning by site owners.  If 100 people were to join a PPP forum, it's likely that there will only be a handful of great posters.  Majority will not think twice about the topic they want to discuss, and many will submit posts that are more likely considered 'spam' than anything useful.

The site owner will then have to pay a great poster and the not-so-great poster the same amount of money.  How fair is this?

I honestly don't think members should all be paid the same amount, especially in a PPP forum.  Members who try hard to find good topics to encourage lengthy threads should be paid more than members who tend to start topics like, e.g. "do you like tea or coffee?"

What do you guys think?

The said forums would be hard-pressed to find a mod or plugin that can do that. Although that should be the ideal way.
