How much do you charge for posting?

In the beginning, I felt like I sold myself short.  I know think it is okay to post for dimes or even 15 cents, but not the big wordy post of over 20 words.  I'm usually pretty windy, so now I just charge 30 cents a post.  That's pretty expensive, isn't it?

I deviate on how much I charge depending on the content.. If it's something I know really well then I'll charge only a dime or two, because I don't need to do any research.  However, when it gets to something hazy for me, I'll charge more.  I'll charge up to maybe 40 cents if the posts take a bit of research, because obviously I'll want to sound educated.  Essentially, it all depends on what kind of posting I'm doing... More interesting to me = cheaper, because I'm getting more benefits than just money.  I'm getting knowledge

Actually 30 cent isn't too much for a quality content.

After all, in today's internet world, content is king and having good content will definately mean more traffics.

I will basically charged 50 cent for research posting and 10-20cents for normal posting that doesn't need much research

Somwhere between $.25 and $.50 per post , but this is not enough , i like to get big packages with 100-200 quality posts . You will never get rich with this service but it`s a good way to make some money . Actualy you have to be well trusted and well known so people could hire you to do this job , that`s what i know .

I used to post for whatever the forums owners are offering me, even for $0.05 for 15 word posts! But since then I have been selective in the posting jobs I am willing to take and most of my going rate is around $0.20 for a 15 word post and $0.25 for starting threads. For topics that require specific specializations like lets say sports racing or taking care of pet lizards, I will charge more due to the contents I will post there will have to be researched first. Going rates will probably be $0.30 per post and $.50 per thread.

Good paid posting encourages further discussion.  The number of words is not always relevant.  The key to the process is whether a little thought has gone in to the content of the post.  I have paid 10c per post for top flight, thoughtful, succinct posts, I have also paid 30c per post for bloated, wordy rubbish. 

The essence of good forum posting is whether the posts naturally draw more people in to the discussion - not the grammar or number of words etc.  Sadly, the majority of paid posting companies (and individuals) fail to realise this.

It really depends on the topic at hand. If something is easy and fun, I will charge as low as .15 a post. If it's going to be a long time to get the work done, and research is heavy, I will charge up to .30 a post. When I use my company, I use packages so it's a bit different.

That's interesting, but I'm not sure it's wise.  Here's how I do it differently.  I only take on subjects that I know well, and I charge a lot for those subjects because I know them well and can post intelligently about them.  If it's a topic that I don't know well, I'll usually charge less and post mainly questions on the forum rather than answers.  Furthermore, just because a topic is interesting is no reason not to charge a good amount for posting on it.
