I think paid forum posting is a good idea. Like you said, it is a great way for people who have sites to start getting some traffic and begin being seen. There are a lot of creative, and informitive forums that could easily get lost in all the sites out there on the internet- this is a great way to help them out. And for people like me who like posting- it's nice to get a little something for the time. It's an easy win-win for eveyone!
