Thinking of setting up a web directory

But I dont even know where to begin.
Anyone have any experience in it ? Which cms do you recommmend ?

Been trying out a few cms, but none has the feature I wanted.

ASPapp Portal is great if your on a windows server.  It's an ASP content management system and portal. It can be used to create a directory, jobs, business listings, and much more.
