Economy Going Downhill Fast

Anyone here worried about the U.S. housing crisis? Homes are worth quite a bit less than they were worth just a year ago. Foreclosures are rising at a very high rate. And, interest rates are about to go up. That doesn't look good for anyone who owns a home and it doesn't look good for the economy as well. With gasoline over $4 a gallon and food prices on the rise, things could get really nasty. And, if the U.S. economy goes down, so will the economies of the rest of the world. I think the real root of the problem is that Americans don't know how to save their money and prepare for times like this. What do you all think?
